OnePlus is addressing all the green line issues which are common in most of the OnePlus devices. The devices which have AMOLED displays are the common ones to have this issue. The replacement program was spotted by X user Starcommander.
This initiative is part of the Red Cable Club loyalty program, it includes a life time display replacement under warranty.
As per the Free Screen Diagnostics and Service Initiative program, OnePlus has launched comprehensive Free Screen Diagnostics and service initiative which includes 3 level of services.
- Comprehensive Diagnostics: Evaluates the screen’s performance and reliability.
- Screen Upgrades and Replacements: Provides a new, advanced display panel with vibrant colors and increased durability, specifically engineered for high-humidity and high-temperature environments.
- Deep Cleaning Service: Offers a thorough cleaning of the device to ensure optimal operation.
The program initially targeted the OnePlus 8 Pro and will extend to other models. User can directly visit the service centre and avail the benefits. The device should be in good condition (without any damage or non official service history) to avail this benefit.
Models of the OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus 9, and OnePlus 9R are eligible for the Lifetime Free Screen Upgrade program. The phone needs to be free from illicit repairs and damage.
