By Its been a long time since One Plus is working on an affordable smartphone and finally the CEO has confirmed that the speculation is true as the company is working on a smartphone that may hit the Indian smartphone market first.
While Lau (CEO OnePlus) didn’t mention the device by name, he did say that the new affordable device is coming “soon” and that that there will be “an announcement soon for India.”
As there are so many rumors around there, the smartphone will be called OnePlus Z. The CEO said that this smartphone will help the company to reestablish their budget range smartphone lineup.
The phone is going to launch later this year. Talking about the internals, the phone will not have a flagship-grade processor. The OnePlus Z will have a snapdragon 765G chip.
Some other leaks have claimed that the OnePlus Z will have a flagship-grade MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chip. Apart from the chipset, there are not many leaks or information for OnePlus Z.
Now a days there are many competitions in the mid range smartphones. That could be the reason, OnePlus is launching the new mid range smartphone.
